ARTICLES: Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Sangeet Natak Akademi in Mumbai.

Shri Ghanakanta Bora Barbayan a Trustee of the Foundation and an eminent exponents with his troupe was invited by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to present a Sattriya Dance Receipt at the Krishna Festival held on August 26, 2002 in New Delhi. Shri Bora and a group of 10 (ten) artists presented an enthralling performance of Sattriya Dance for one hour before a distinguished gathering in the Kamani Auditorium , New Delhi. This was a first ever presentation of the Sattriya Dance at the invitation of the ICCR.

Sattriya Presentation at the SPICMACAY Virasat 2002: Shri Ghanakanta Bora 'Borbayan' and Dr. Pradip Jyoti Mahanta Trustees of the Foundation were invited by the SPICMACAY for a series of recitals and lecture-demonstrations as a part of the Virasat 2002 of the organization. The exponent -scholar draw with the active support of the group of performing artists gave three recitals and lecture demonstrations in three famous public schools in Delhi to the great appreciation of young art loving students .

Golden Jubilee Dance Festival of the SVT: Shri Ghanakanta Bora 'Borbayan' was also invited by the Sangeet Natak Academi to present a Sattriya Dance recital in the Nritya-Swaru the Golden Jubilee 'Festival of classical Dance held on Nov 10, 2002 in the Nehru Centre , Mumbai. A contingent of seventeen artists under his leadership presented an enthralling recital to a capacity packed audience at the sprawling Nehru Centre. Both art lovers and the mediacircles widely appreciated the recital.
